The third annual Women’s World Football Games held in New Orleans
March 1st-6th, 2016
USA Football once again held what has now become an annual event in the world of women's tackle football. In a first ever partnership with the New Orleans Saints, they hosted the Women’s World Football Games that ran from March 1st to the 6th, 2016. Over 300 female tackle football players from around the world attended this highly successful event! Participants spent six days at the New Orleans Saints training facility learning the game and playing where the pros play. Many of the country's leading head and positional coaches worked the event to teach the sport of American Football to the particpants. The event consisted of four days of drills and technique teaching and on the fifth day, players were split into teams (all countries mixed together) for a competitive game.
Women's World Games II
February 26th - March 1st, 2015
The second annual World Games was held in Tampa, Florida and featured over 150 players from 16 different countries coming together to learn the game of football.
